Nova Scotia Health Authority Clinical Information Management & Technology (NSHA IM/IT) is pleased to welcome Steven Carrigan and Natalie Oake as our guest speakers for the next Let's Talk Informatics event - NSHA Analytics Roadmap.
Steven Carrigan, MPA, MSc, is the Manager of Decision Support & Analytics at Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA), leading a team of analysts spread across the province, endeavouring to provide data to drive decision making throughout NSHA. Mr. Carrigan’s experience and interests include health services planning, biostatistics, evidence-based decision making, epidemiology, performance measurement. Prior to joining NSHA, Steven worked in health care analytics at the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness and Dalhousie University, focused on patient access and wait times, emergency medical services and health services research.
Natalie Oake is the Manager of IM/IT Business Intelligence at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. She brings 10 years of experience in measuring health system performance to the IM/IT department. She holds a Master of Health Management, a Master of Science in Epidemiology and has co-authored a book chapter and 15 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Most recently, Natalie has received certification in Health Informatics and Business Relationship Management. She is a collaborative leader who is committed to enhancing the skills and culture of her team, department and organization.
